Well Reza Aslan is learning a big lesson today – you can’t call the president a “piece of s**t” while hosting a show at CNN.
His show, “Believer,” has been cancelled.
CNN spokeswoman confirms that the network has parted ways with @RezaAslan, who posted profane anti-Trump tweets. Story coming shortly

Season 2 of Aslan's "Believer" series was in the works. But CNN "decided to not move forward with production." He's about to issue statement

Aslan had also, albeit jokingly, called for the rape of a Republican congressman:
@rezaaslan wishes "someone would rape" a congressman, instead, he's the one who got shafted! Take your ass to Iran with your hate speech! pic.twitter.com/9DJRehUc2j

And yes, he apologized for the insult to Trump.
But the crazy thing is that Aslan has been doing this for a long time – it’s only that people took notice of it now that it made a difference.
There's something fundamentally abnormal abt a President mocking Senators on Twitter after firing his FBI Director https://t.co/iu7AFtSKaC

Oh well. His show was stupid anyway.
