BOOM! North Carolina school board votes overwhelmingly to protect children from LGBT groomers

A county school board in North Carolina voted overwhelmingly last night to protect children from LGBT groomers by forcing teachers to notify parents of any name or pronoun changes.

The Moore County school board calls this a Parents’ Bill of Rights.

WGHP – On Monday night, the Moore County School Board voted to approve their version of the Parents’ Bill of Rights.

The school board voted for a policy that requires teachers to notify parents of their child’s pronoun changes.

Several people spoke up at the meeting and expressed concerns that the rule could target transgender students.

The new policy passed 6-1.

At the school board meeting one of the parents characterized the new policy by saying it “will stem the hijacking of classrooms by a fringe element that demonizes parents while grooming children and ignoring their mental health.” That’s absolutely right.

It’s really nice to see a school board fight back against these groomers by voting to protect students and respect parents. All schools should be doing this and it’s ridiculous that they don’t. Parents have an absolute right to know about everything with respect to their children in any school system.
