Peter Doocy, as you know, is the only person in the White House press corps asking anything worth being asked, or challenging the administration in any way at all about anything.
Friday’s briefing was no exception. When Biden took his undeserved “victory lap” about the jobs numbers that no one should be celebrating, curing which he pretended to object to huge spending, he also bragged about gas prices being on a very slow decline from the highest prices since before some of you were born.
Doocy asked the obvious question no other media would ask: how on earth can he BRAG about this?
“Why is the President bragging today about gas prices?”
“Because it’s gone down.”
“It’s still $1.72 higher than when he took office.”
