A federal district court decision has been upended by the Supreme Court.
The high court today lifted a ban on Louisiana’s Congressional map so that it will be in effect this year for elections.

As you can see from the announcement, Breyer, Sotomayor and Kagan all would have kept the ban in place.
Which I guess means it was a 6-3 decision. Kinda surprised John Roberts wasn’t with them on this one. He really likes being a swing vote, meaning you never know which way he’s gonna swing.
