This was so completely and totally perfect it’s like the reporter was sent to this earth just to be the buffoon in this exact moment.
“Mr. President, you said that the pandemic is disappearing, but we lost 6,000 Americans this week and just in this room you have dozens of people who are not following our guidelines in New Jersey,” said the no-name clown “reporter.”
The crowd of supporters off camera (of course) began to boo the clown and then Trump completely owned him.
“You’re wrong about that because it’s a political activity, they have exceptions, political activity. And it’s also a peaceful protest,” said Trump, as the supporters cheered. “And to me they look like they all have, pretty much all have masks on.”
“But you know you have an exclusion in the law that says peaceful protests or political activity, right? In fact, specifically, yeah,” said Trump, confirming and then quoting the exact guidelines, “it says exactly ‘political activity or peaceful protest’ and you can call it political activity but I call it peaceful protest. Because they heard you were coming up, and they know the news is fake, they understand it better than anybody.”
And if y’all want to see some fake news square, go read their articles covering this exchange, where they leave parts out or claim the crowd was “maskless” — a completely false claim.
It’s really bad out there. But seeing the law shoved in this reporters stupid face almost makes their being totally fake worth it.

UPDATE: Of COURSE this is the first reply. What liberals lack in imagination they make up for in lack of everything else.
They are following the guidelines. If you don't want exceptions for protests and political activity quit making them. But if you're dumb enough to think 40 people at a golf club are spreading it and 40,000 on the streets setting fires aren't, then you probably can't be helped.
