San Diego police officers responded multiple times to help protect ICE agents while they were carrying out immigration raids. ICE officers called for assistance when they were under attack from activists, and despite Gavin Newsom’s sanctuary law, local police assisted because it was an emergency situation.

There’s no doubt that San Diego PD will come under fire for this, but it was the right thing to do and I’m so glad they did it, and with appropriate justification.
