Border Agent: Drug cartels taking advantage of ‘porous border’ with 70% of agents preoccupied by surge

Border agent Hector Garza has been incredibly candid and open in providing the alarming details at the border to the news media. In this interview with Uma Pemmaraju on Fox News, he says that 70% of border agents are pre-occupied with taking care of the illegal alien child surge, and drug cartels are taking advantage of the situation.

I’m not sure how Hector is able to defy the gag rule on agents commenting about the border, but I’m very glad he is.
