Political correctness, white guilt and police hatred have killed the grandfather of modern day police shows on TV, “Cops”:
MYFOX8 – The television series “Cops” has been canceled at Paramount Network, according to Variety.
The news the series won’t return comes after Variety reported it had been delayed even though the show was scheduled to return on Monday.
“‘Cops’ is not on the Paramount Network and we don’t have any current or future plans for it to return,” a network spokesperson confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter.
The show has been on air for more than 30 seasons. It was created by John Langely and Malcom Barbour, premiering March 11, 1989.
“COPS has followed officers in over 140 different cities in the United States,” the show’s website states.
According to Variety, A&E has removed “Live PD” from its schedule, as well.
This just feeds the false and dangerous narrative that police officers are racist. It’s despicable.
Also, these networks are run by cowards. Instead of defending cops they run and stand with the cop-haters.
Too many cops die protecting us and no one seems to care. But let one bad cop kill a black man and the whole lot must be thrown out.
UPDATE: It turns out that Live PD was not actually cancelled, that it will come back:
To all of you asking whether #LivePD coming back. . .The answer is yes. All of us associated with the show are as committed to it as ever. We are still discussing some specifics but I want to assure the #LivePDNation that we are not abandoning you.
