BREAKING: 13 Republicans voted with Democrats to undo Trump executive order

The House just advanced a bill tonight that could overturn President Trump’s executive order that banned collective bargaining for around one million federal workers in departments that are crucial for national security.

Here’s the news via Eric Daughtery:

U.S. House ADVANCES bill to OVERTURN a President Trump executive order after 13 Republicans voted with Democrats.

In a 222-200 vote, the House moved forward with ending Trump’s crackdown on federal worker unions.

The 13 Republicans are:

  1. Jeff Van Drew, R-N.J.
  2. Nicole Malliotakis, R-N.Y.
  3. Nick LaLota, R-N.Y.
  4. Brian Fitzpatrick, R-Pa.
  5. Rob Bresnahan, R-Pa.
  6. Don Bacon, R-Neb.
  7. Mike Lawler, R-N.Y.
  8. Tom Kean, R-N.J.
  9. Ryan Mackenzie, R-Pa.
  10. Zach Nunn, R-Iowa
  11. Chris Smith, R-N.J.
  12. Pete Stauber, R-Minn.
  13. Mike Turner, R-Ohio

What this bill did was force the bill out of committee for consideration by the full House. Which means, the bill must be voted on in the next seven days in an up-or-down vote by the full House.

If passed, it would then go to the Senate where hopefully it would die.
