This is the news that many on the right have been so long to hear.
AG Barr has reportedly put together a team to investigate the 2016 counterintelligence probe by the Obama FBI and DOJ into the Trump campaign.
We don’t know much, but there it is:
FOX NEWS – Attorney General Bill Barr has assembled a “team” to investigate the origins of the FBI’s counterintelligence investigation into the Trump campaign, an administration official briefed on the situation told Fox News on Tuesday.
Barr told lawmakers at a contentious hearing on Tuesday that he was reviewing the bureau’s “conduct” during the summer of 2016. Republicans have repeatedly called for a thorough investigation of the FBI’s intelligence practices following the conclusion of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s probe — and they now appeared to have assurances that such a review was underway.
What great news! It’s not a special counsel but we’ll take it.
Since Trump has been vindicated by the Mueller probe, it just makes sense for Barr to investigate all the hanky panky that went on back then and give the FBI/DOJ the thorough anal exam it deserves to find out what really happened.

Fox News is also told that the Justice Department’s Inspector General (IG) is separately looking into whether former FBI Director James Comey mishandled classified information by including a variety of sensitive matters in his private memos, including the name and code name of a confidential human source.
More good news! With Barr at the helm, hopefully this will actually go somewhere.
