BREAKING: AG Barr says spying DID occur on Trump campaign in 2016 and it’s a big deal – [FULL VIDEO]

AG Barr is before the Senate this morning and was asked about his counterintelligence investigation that was announced last night.

In his testimony this morning he testified that he believes there was spying by counterintelligence agencies on the Trump campaign in 2016, and that’s a big deal.

Watch his full comments, as opposed smaller soundbites floating around:

Bar says that the question isn’t whether there was spying, but whether it was adequately predicated. He’s clear that he isn’t making a pronouncement one way or the other, but he believes that it’s the duty of the AG to make sure our intelligence agencies are staying in their lane and not abusing their power.

He also notes that he hasn’t put a team together yet, but he does have people in mind that he wants to help gather all of this information.

Watch the video for more, as his comments are very interesting – especially regarding his reasoning as to why he believes this is such a big deal.
