BREAKING: Alaska Supreme Court allows ‘decoy’ candidate on the ballot

The Alaska Supreme Court is allowing a ‘decoy’ candidate to show up on the ballot in the August primary with the same name as Senator Dan Sullivan.

The state had refused to allow Dan Sullivan Jr. on the ballot, but the courts say they cannot do that and must add him to the ballot.

Here’s the ruling:

The reason that this can be such a problem is obvious, that the Jr. would steal votes from the incumbent Senator Dan Sullivan and keep him from being on the final ballot.

I don’t know what or who is behind this new ‘decoy’ Dan Sullivan, but whatever the case it is sure to hurt Senator’s chances.
