Apparently there are a lot of Republicans unhappy with the move to make Patrick McHenry a permanent pro tem speaker. From the way it reads, it seems to have more to do with the inability to elect a speaker of the House than it does with McHenry.

UPDATE: It’s being reported that Jordan’s meeting with the 20 holdouts didn’t go well:
JORDAN just walked out of his meeting with holdouts. He did not take any questions from the press, including whether there is a vote tonight.
