BREAKING: At least 40 pro-Hamas protesters ARRESTED at Yale University

The Jew-hating pro-Hamas protesters were out in force throughout the weekend at Yale University in an encampment they had set up to try and get Yale to ‘divest’ in military manufacturers or something.

But this morning police arrested over 40 of them who refused to leave the encampment they had set up.

Below is video of the warning:

Here’s more from CNN on the arrests:

At least 40 protesters have been arrested during a pro-Palestinian rally at Yale University in Connecticut, the school’s police chief told the Yale Daily News.

Those arrested face charges of trespassing, a Class A misdemeanor, Yale Police Chief Anthony Campbell told the campus news publication. Campbell said those arrested would be released after processing.

The police chief said protesters had been warned twice before the arrests – once at 11 p.m. Sunday night and again Monday morning before 7 a.m.

Journalists from the Yale Daily News were also threatened with arrest if they did not move from the plaza, the publication said.

“Cops have gathered at Beinecke Plaza, where pro-Palestine protesters urging Yale to divest from military weapons manufacturers set up tents overnight – the third night of their ongoing encampment,” it reported.

CNN has reached out to Yale University administration, the Yale Police Department and the New Haven Police Department in Connecticut for more information.

All of this comes after a Jewish woman was jabbed in the eye with a flagpole this weekend during this pro-Hamas protest at Yale.

JPOST – A Jewish Yale University student was jabbed in the eye with a flag pole by an anti-Israel protester on Saturday night, Sophomore Sahar Tartak told The Jerusalem Post.

Tartak, a history student and editor-in-chief of the Yale Free Press, had attempted to film the pro-Palestinian protest encampment set up on the campus.

The visibly religious Jewish student and her friend were immediately met with a wall of five activists each, who did not allow them to pass.

“One of them takes their Palestinian flag and waves it in my face and then jabs it in the face,” said Tartak.

Tartak reported the assault to campus police, but she is unaware of any action taken besides calling an ambulance for her. She was discharged from the hospital and will not suffer permanent damage. Mentally, however, Tartak said, she was in an “awful” state.
