An Indian oil tanker is heard pleading with the IRGC to stop firing on them in the Strait of Hormuz, claiming the IRGC had already granted them passage.

First of all, Sepah Navy is the IRGC, just fyi. Secondly, why is the IRGC allowed to fire on any tanker in the Strait of Hormuz? I thought they just announced it was free and open. And, more importantly, why is Trump allowing this to happen? I know the strait is massive, and presuming that this was an unexpected development, I hope the US military took action against this IRGC navy boat for doing this. After all, there is a blockade of all Iranian ports in the strait, and Iran should have no say on who comes and goes in the Hormuz strait.
