BREAKING: Biden CIA analyst admits to leaking Israeli plans to strike Iran

A CIA analyst in the Biden administration has just admitted to leaking the Israeli plans from last October to strike Iran.

Despite 20 years in prison being the potential sentence after being charged with two counts of leaking classified documents, he’s apparently agreed to a deal that will only give him 6.5 years.

CIA Analyst Admits to Leaking Israeli Strike Plans on Iran

Asif Rahman, a CIA analyst stationed at the U.S. Embassy in Cambodia, admitted in court today to leaking classified documents detailing Israel’s preparations for an attack on Iran in October. Charged with two counts of sharing sensitive national security information, Rahman faces up to 20 years in prison.

Despite the maximum sentence, both sides have reportedly agreed to a plea deal of 6.5 years, which could be reduced further due to his admission of guilt. Prosecutors allege Rahman acted out of ideological motives and warned of the risk that he could leak additional classified documents.

6.5 years is a fairly long time in prison, but he should really get much more than that. There must be severe consequences for leaking classified documents to the enemy and 6.5 years isn’t nearly enough.
