Biden’s hack AG, Merrick Garland, just declared war on new state voting laws that he claims ‘restrict voting’ and is doubling his ‘voting rights staff’ to do so:
THE HILL – Attorney General Merrick Garland announced Friday the Department of Justice (DOJ) would double its voting rights staff while condemning a number of recently passed state laws and issuing a stern warning that the department would combat voter restrictions that run afoul of the law.
Garland said the department will also take measures to limit gerrymandering while setting guidelines for absentee and mail voting ahead of the 2022 midterm elections.
“We are scrutinizing new laws that seek to curb voter access, and where we see violations, we will not hesitate to act,” Garland said during a speech in Washington. “We are also scrutinizing current laws and practices in order to determine whether they discriminate against Black voters and other voters of color.”
Garland pointed to 14 “new laws that make it harder to vote,” including a Georgia law that made headlines for barring distributing food or water to voters waiting in line while also imposing new limits on absentee voting.
Talk about politicizing the DOJ. The Georgia law, among other recent state election laws, was a great law and didn’t deserve any of the criticism it got. But of course Biden’s hack AG is picking up where Biden and his fellow radical Democrats left off, suggesting the law was a throwback to Jim Eagle Crow, and he will no doubt try and sue to stop the law from going into effect before next year’s elections.
Not only did Garland wage war on new state election laws, but he’s waging war on state audits too:

Forget what the audit finds. Garland doesn’t care about that. He just wants to attack the process to keep it from finishing OR to undermine the results.
Everytime I see news like this, I have a deeper respect for Mitch McConnell who made sure Garland never had a chance at the Supreme Court. He’s clearly a radical left Democrat which Obama and Democrats were trying to hide in 2016.
