Both Bill and Hillary Clinton have now agreed to testify at a House hearing on Jeffrey Epstein, according to this report from Sky News:
Bill and Hillary Clinton have agreed to testify to the House of Representatives for its investigation into Jeffrey Epstein, the former president’s deputy chief of staff said.
Angel Urena made the remarks in response to claims from the Republican-led Oversight Committee that the Clintons denied subpoenas and were trying to “dodge contempt by requesting special treatment”.
“They negotiated in good faith,” the aide said on X. “You did not.
“They told you under oath what they know, but you don’t care.
“But the former president and former secretary of state will be there.
“They look forward to setting a precedent that applies to everyone.”
There will probably be a lot of ‘I don’t remember or ‘I plead the 5th’ in this hearing. I don’t think they will answer anything substantially.
