BREAKING! BRADY BACKS DOWN!!! ACCEPTS 4-game SUSPENSION!!

In a pretty surprising move, New England Patriot’s quarterback Tom Brady says he will NOT take his deflategate case to the Supreme Court, which would have been his last option after an appeals court denied his claim earlier this week.

WOW!! I really thought he would take it to the Supreme Court and force Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg to inspect his… case.

Here’s more from Yahoo News:

Brady had the option to petition the Supreme Court for a stay on the ruling that went against him in the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, but he has opted to punt on what appeared to be fourth down in his legal options.

Brady staunchly has maintained his innocence in the matter of the deflated balls since the 2014 AFC title game against the Indianapolis Colts but has been one step behind the NFL and its lawyers in the process pretty much since then. He now will sit out the Patriots’ first four games and yet won’t get hit too hard in the wallet despite that.

The Patriots open the season at the Arizona Cardinals in Week 1 and follow that with three home games — against the Miami Dolphins, Houston Texans and Buffalo Bills. That means Brady will not be facing two division rivals or his former offensive coordinator, Texans head coach Bill O’Brien, or Brady’s former teammate, pass rusher Chandler Jones, who was traded to the Cardinals in the offseason.

I can’t wait for this season to begin….
