BREAKING: Car crashes into lobby of Trump Plaza in New York

A car has crashed into the lobby of Trump Plaza in Westchester, New York:

A car plowed into the lobby of Trump Plaza in New Rochelle Tuesday night, according to video posted on social media.

Video of the crash shows a banged up black Mercedes-Benz sitting inside the marble lobby of the 40-story luxury residential building on Huguenot Street.

In the clip posted to Twitter by CBS New York reporter Tony Aiello, the glass front entrance of the tower is seen destroyed.

“Workers at Trump Plaza New Rochelle say after car plowed into lobby, make [sic] driver got out and took a seat on a sofa. Said nothing. Several injuries but none are life threatening,” Aiello tweeted.

It was not immediately clear how the crash happened or if it was intentional.

The New Rochelle Police Department could not immediately provide information on the incident.

The high-rise is owned by the Trump Organization.

Here’s video of the aftermath:

The good news is that none of the injuries are life threatening. And I do hope it was accidental. After all it was a Mercedes-Benz and I’d hate to think that someone wrecked their nice car because they hate Trump. But these days you never know…
