House Oversight Chairman James Comer and House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan sent a response letter to Hunter Biden’s lawyer revealing that they will reissue their subpoenas for Hunter to give a deposition.
But they point out that their reissuing of this subpoena in no way implies that they agree with with Hunter’s lawyer said in his letter about their prior subpoena.
They point out that their “willingness to issue these subpoenas is rooted entirely in our interest in obtaining Mr. Biden’s testimony as expeditiously as possible.”
Here’s the tweet from the Judiciary Committee:

As I said before, should Hunter attend a deposition with House Republicans, I fully expect him to plead the 5th amendment to keep from having to answer their questions.
