The Cherokee Nation has officially responded to Big Chief Elizabeth Warren’s DNA test that she’s been pushing today, pointing out that it is both wrong and inappropriate to use something like this to make any connection whatsoever to the Cherokee Nation. They pretty much call her claims a load of bollocks:
Here’s their release:
Here’s Warren pushing the story to try and shame Trump into giving her some wampum:
By the way, @realDonaldTrump: Remember saying on 7/5 that you’d give $1M to a charity of my choice if my DNA showed Native American ancestry? I remember – and here's the verdict. She claims it confirms her ancestry. But Cherokee nation says it makes a ‘mockery of DNA tests and its legitimate uses” and mocks actual members of the Cherokee Nation.
Just in case you aren’t clear that it is indeed Cherokee that Warren is claiming, here is Warren back in the day claiming her mother is part Cherokee:
And here’s one last video of Trump responding to her DNA test:

He’s right. She does owe the country and apology. And he’s not the only one who thinks so…
