BREAKING: Chris Wallace OUT at Fox. ‘This is my FINAL Fox News Sunday.’ You’ll NEVER guess where he’s headed, lol.

Chris Wallace has not been at home at Fox News, and the base audience has not been at home with him. He has certainly never been popular here at the Scoop. This morning in a surprise announcement that has social media ABLAZE, Wallace suddenly announced his departure from Fox.

The news that he was leaving came as a shock, with the story about where he was headed breaking at the same time as his announcement on the air at the end of today’s show.

““After 18 years — this is my final FOX News Sunday. It is the last time — and I say this with real sadness — we will meet like this. Eighteen years ago, the bosses here at Fox promised me they would never interfere with a guest I booked or a question I asked. And they kept that promise. I have been free to report to the best of my ability, to cover the stories I think are important, to hold our country’s leaders to account. It’s been a great ride.”

I mean I ain’t sure great is the word but anyway.

Of course, you can’t POSSIBLY guess what network he’s headed to, right? Not in a bajillion tramillion kabillion….

quintabulion years.

Okay yes you can, it’s CNN, duh. CNN+ actually, their new streaming digital whosit.

So anyway I reckon it’s time for …

Update – Fox News statement: “We are extremely proud of our journalism and the stellar team that Chris Wallace was a part of for 18 years. The legacy of FOX News Sunday will continue with our star journalists, many of whom will rotate in the position until a permanent host is named.”
