UPDATE:
Gaetz deleted his tweet and apologized to Nancy Pelosi:
Speaker, I want to get the truth too. While it is important 2 create context around the testimony of liars like Michael Cohen, it was NOT my intent to threaten, as some believe I did. I’m deleting the tweet & I should have chosen words that better showed my intent. I’m sorry. https://t.co/Rdbw3sTQJD

Wasn’t his intent to threaten? Yeah, you blew that one buddy.
Glad he apologized though, even if it was to Nancy.

With Cohen’s public testimony coming tomorrow after his private testimony today, a lot of the spotlight has been cast on Cohen by the media.
Some are saying what he’s got to say doesn’t amount to much. But one must wonder when we see a threatening tweet like the one below sent to Michael Cohen from Congressman Matt Gaetz.
Behold:
Hey @MichaelCohen212 – Do your wife & father-in-law know about your girlfriends? Maybe tonight would be a good time for that chat. I wonder if she’ll remain faithful when you’re in prison. She’s about to learn a lot…
Wow.
Seriously.
Wow.
Honestly, I can’t say whether this amounts to anything legally or not. But clearly he’s intending to intimidate Cohen and that’s so uncool. If the shoe were on the other foot we’d probably be screaming witness tampering.
Again, I don’t if that’s what this is legally speaking. But clearly it’s designed to shut Cohen up.
I just can’t believe he’d put something out there like this so publicly.
Here are a few Twitter responses of note:

Ok I had to include that one because it’s hilarious!
If Roy Cohn was a congressman and had a Twitter account https://t.co/SgjhOGKzYG

Cohn was “Joseph McCarthy’s chief counsel during the Army–McCarthy hearings”. Wow.
This is disgraceful https://t.co/2LGvWln5OV

This should not be legal. Intimidating a witness before Congress should be against the law. https://t.co/uVBZR3NzXf

What's next, seating Frank Pantangeli's brother in the witness section? https://t.co/uBA8SABHC2

I’ve never seen the Godfather, so I had to look that one up. For those of you like me, Wikipedia says “Frank “Frankie Five Angels” Pentangeli is a fictional character from the film The Godfather Part II”.
I think that pretty much some all of this up.
