It’s just being reported that Dave McCormick has won his US Senate race in Pennsylvania, flipping the seat from Democrat to Republican.
We’d just reported earlier today that he’d won the race but it wasn’t being called yet by anyone in the media.

This gives Republicans 53 seats in the US Senate to 46 seats for Democrats. Of course, Bob Casey is refusing to concede.

There is currently one outstanding seat and it’s the race in Arizona, which currently has Ruben Gallego leading Kari Lake by exactly 2 points. Lake has gained .2 points since I wrote about this earlier.
