A Democrat running for the US Senate in Maine, Graham Platner, has a legit Nazi skull and crossbones tattoo on his chest and claims he got it while being inebriated a long time ago.
But he’s never covered it up, claiming he didn’t even know what it was until recently, or something.
Here’s the news:

The skull and bones on his chest is called "Totenkopf" and it was used by Hitler's SS pic.twitter.com/IpZaO0Fdi4

The tattoo on his right pectoral appears to resemble the Totenkopf, which the Anti-Defamation League said is German for “death’s head.” It was worn by Hitler’s Schutzstaffel and became a symbol of the unit guarding concentration camps.

His former political director, who resigned last week, claims Platner is a military history buff and knows exactly what it is and has never had it covered up:

Fast-forward to Bernie Sanders’ endorsement of him, and it turns out he’s totally fine with it and doesn’t even like being asked about the Nazi tattoo:
An angry Bernie Sanders won’t drop his support for Graham Platner despite a Nazi tattoo on his chest

3/ Sanders: “I personally think he is an excellent candidate and will support him, and I look forward to him becoming the next senator from Maine.”

4/ When pressed on Platner’s Nazi tattoo, Sanders lashed out at the “corrupt campaign finance system” adding “We don’t have enough candidates in this country that will take on the powers that be and fight for the working class.”

AND…
Bernie about Platner,
“In all due respect, all right, what I'm worried about, 50,000 Americans may die unnecessarily? And you're worried about a tattoo?"
When I asked about his comments about sexual assault, he said "Have you served four tours of duty?" I said "I have not."

I should not that Bernie was heated and pointing his hand at me. Meanwhile, Ron Johnson told @CatieEdmonson "Bernie's Getting pissed."

Just like with Jay Johnson, Democrats only care about power and not about having potential violent leftists and Nazis among them. They will try and force Republicans to distance themselves and what not from the baddies on our side, but they live by a completely double standard.
