BREAKING: Democrat judge HALTS Ohio’s law banning nearly all abortions in the state

A Democrat judge in Ohio has just issued a 14-day restraining order against the state’s pro-life law banning nearly all abortions in the state.

Hamilton County Judge Christian Jenkins did this on behalf of a lawsuit brought by the ACLU who is representing abortion providers.

A judge temporarily blocked Ohio’s ban on virtually all abortions Wednesday, again pausing a law that took effect after federal abortion protections were overturned by the U.S. Supreme Court in June.

The decision means abortions through 20 weeks’ gestation can continue for now, in keeping with state law in place before the ban.

Hamilton County Judge Christian Jenkins’ decision to grant a 14-day restraining order against the law came as part of a lawsuit brought by the ACLU of Ohio on behalf of abortion providers in the state. The clinics argue the law violates protections in the state Constitution guaranteeing individual liberty and equal protection. The suit also says the law is unconstitutionally vague.

The law was signed by Republican Gov. Mike DeWine in April 2019, and prohibits most abortions after the first detectable “fetal heartbeat.” Cardiac activity can be detected as early as six weeks into pregnancy, before many people know they’re pregnant. The law had been blocked through a legal challenge, then went into effect after the landmark 1973 Roe v. Wade decision was overturned.

DeWine’s opponent in the November election, Democrat and abortion rights proponent Nan Whaley, called Wednesday’s ruling “a victory, albeit a temporary one, for Ohio women.” She said, “Ohio women won’t be safe until we have a pro-choice governor who doesn’t seek to impose extreme views like government mandates against private health care decisions.”

Ohio women won’t be safe? Seriously? The rhetoric on the pro-baby-murder side is appalling. Women are NOT in danger because they are forced to have a baby. That’s ludicrious.

What’s even more appalling is pretending that the woman is the one in danger when it’s the infant in the womb that won’t be safe until abortion is outlawed. Completely.

Just to underscore how Jesus feels about abortion, this is an excerpt from Saint Faustina’s diary who lived in Poland in the early 20th century. For those of you who aren’t familiar with her, the Catholic Church has approved her diary which Jesus instructed her to keep for our benefit. It contains many words from Jesus to Faustina.

I wanted very much to make a Holy Hour before the Blessed Sacrament today, but God’s will was otherwise. At eight o’clock I was seized with such violent pains that (31) I had to go to bed at once. I was convulsed with pain for three hours; that is, until eleven o’clock at night. No medicine had any effect on me, and whatever I swallowed I threw up. At times, the pains caused me to lose consciousness. Jesus had me realize that in this way I took part in His Agony in the Garden, and that He Himself allowed these sufferings in order to offer reparation to God for the souls murdered in the wombs of wicked mothers. I have gone through these sufferings three times now. They always start at eight o’clock in the evening and last until eleven. No medicine can lessen these sufferings. When eleven o’clock comes, they cease by themselves, and I fall asleep at that moment. The following day, I feel very weak.

While these words aren’t directly from Jesus (like much of the diary), the suffering and characterization is from Jesus. In it Jesus refers to the mothers who murder the innocent souls in their wombs as ‘wicked’.

I know many of you aren’t familiar with Saint Faustia, but I think you won’t have any problem believing that Jesus feels this way about women who have abortions. It is murder and a great evil. But not so evil that it is beyond His great unfathomable Mercy.
