BREAKING: Don Lemon ARRESTED after participating in protest inside Church in Minnesota

Don Lemon has finally been arrested after participating in a protest inside a church in Minnesota. His arrest was made by the FBI and HSI while in Los Angeles for the Grammys.

Here’s more from CBS News:

Former cable news anchor Don Lemon was arrested Thursday night, his attorney and multiple sources with direct knowledge told CBS News on Friday. The arrest comes nearly two weeks after Lemon was at an anti-immigration protest that disrupted a service at a church in Minnesota.

A source familiar with the matter said a grand jury was empaneled Thursday. FBI and HSI were involved in the arrest, sources say.

It was not immediately clear what charges Lemon would be facing. Abbe Lowell, Lemon’s lawyer, confirmed he was taken into custody by federal agents Thursday night in Los Angeles, where he was covering this weekend’s Grammy Awards.

I had seen reports that the Feds had given up and withdrawn their arrest warrant for Lemon. While the latter was technically true, I knew they hadn’t given up; they just had to change tactics. I would imagine several others were arrested as well, even though that isn’t mentioned in the article.

Good for the DOJ in getting this done. Hopefully a court will convict him and the others of FACE Act violations and put them all behind bars for a while.
