ESPN just fired the host of Sunday NFL Countdown, Samantha Ponder, just a few weeks before the NFL season starts. They also fired Robert Griffin III, a top NFL analyst.
What do these two have in common? They both spoke out against biological men competing women’s sports.
Of course ESPN, owned by Disney, claims these are budget related firings. But people aren’t buying it:
Sam Ponder and Robert Griffin III have been fired by ESPN, according to sources.
These are budget moves. These are the only two being let go as ESPN ends its fiscal year.

Clay Travis quickly hit back at Marchand, calling out the deception:
Don’t carry ESPN water here, Andrew, you don’t fire top football analysts a couple of weeks before the season starts to save a few million dollars on a multi billion dollar budget. This is a bullshit excuse as anyone with a functional brain knows.

Others chimed in as well:
ESPN just fired @samponder — who was the only person left at Disney to openly speak out against men competing against women in sports — citing "budget cuts." https://t.co/Lxzmmfclsp

These are because they've spoken out about Men in women's sports Andrew

As leftist as ESPN and Disney are, I totally believe that’s why they were fired. If Kirk Herbstreit wasn’t so big, they’d probably fire him as well.
