FBI Director Kash Patel just responded to the Comey threat, noting that they are very much aware of it but the primary jurisdiction belongs with the Secret Service.
We are aware of the recent social media post by former FBI Director James Comey, directed at President Trump. We are in communication with the Secret Service and Director Curran. Primary jurisdiction is with SS on these matters and we, the FBI, will provide all necessary support.

James Comey deleted the message and then posted this lame excuse on Instagram:
What a load of crap. If he knew it was a political message, then he knew exactly what it meant. How could he not know? He’s just lying about it to cover his butt, like he always does, and it couldn’t be more clear.
