It appears some in the crowd are turning violent and attacking the police:

Assuming these truly are patriots as the tweeter suggests, this I cannot endorse. I’m all for showing up in full force to protest, but attacking police officers who are simply trying to keep the peace is going too far.
But there’s always the strong possibility that these are not patriots, but rather infiltrators trying to make Trump supporters look bad.
