A federal district court just blocked the new-ish Alabama congressional map after the Supreme Court had remanded the case back to the court in light of the recent Callais decision.
A 3-judge panel claimed that the 2023 congressional map was intentionally discriminatory and blocked it.

After Callais, Alabama again sought to use the 2023 map, and SCOTUS – where the case had been pending on a second appeal – sent the case back to the 3-judge panel to reconsider in light of the Callais decision.
