A federal appeals court just ruled that Trump can’t block Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance from getting 8 years of his taxes:

However, according to the AP, the appeals court left the injunction in place to give Trump an opportunity to appeal this to the Supreme Court:
President Donald Trump’s accountant must turn over his tax records to a New York state prosecutor, an appeals court ruled Wednesday.
The 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Manhattan said a stay of a lower-court decision will remain in effect so Trump’s lawyers can appeal the ruling to the U.S. Supreme Court.
So this isn’t over yet despite the court rejecting Trump’s arguments. We’ll have to wait and see what the Supreme Court says and you can believe Barrett will be asked about this in the hearing next week by Democrats.
