I was hoping for a different outcome, but it looks like another federal judge is trying to take away President Trump’s authority over the National Guard:
BREAKING: San Francisco federal judge Charles Breyer has ordered that the Trump administration must return control of the California National Guard to Gov. Newsom and can no longer deploy members of the CA National Guard to Los Angeles. Judge rules Trump’s actions were illegal. pic.twitter.com/0uqIQi1KoV

Trump will of course appeal this to the Ninth Circuit, in hopes of a proper ruling on this.
Marc Theissen says this ruling is absurd:
I’m sorry but this is absurd. Trump is the Commander in Chief of the United States Armed Forces. A district judge has no competence to question his decision to call up the Guard.
By this logic George Wallace could have sued to prevent Lyndon Johnson from calling up the Guard to protect the marchers in Selma.
