The first Democratic debate will have 20 candidates, with all but three of them qualifying for the debate:
NEWS 5 – The first Democratic Party primary debate for the 2020 election will be held in two weeks and the field of 20 candidates for the debate has been announced by the party.
The debate will occur over the course of two evenings and will aired on NBC, MSNBC and Telemundo. The June 26 and 27 debates will be held in Miami.

If the debate will be on two consecutive nights, will they split them up into pairs of 10? I don’t see anything about that so I’m guessing that’s a no.
Also, the candidates who didn’t make the cut are Former Gov. Steve Bullock, U.S. Rep. Seth Moulton, D-Mass, and Miramar, Florida Mayor Wayne Messam.
