[UPDATE: SHOOTER IDENTIFIED] – Five dead, eight injured include police officers in mass shooting in Louisville, Kentucky

The reports have been coming in this morning of an active shooter in Louisville, Kentucky this morning.

Now we know that it took place in the Old National Bank and that five are dead and six wounded, including a police officer.

The shooter is reportedly dead at the scene.

What a horrible scene.

Little more is known about the mass shooting, but we’ll have more for you on this as it unfolds.

UPDATE: Police have just held a press conference saying that 8 were injured and two are critical, including one of two police offices injured:

They also report that shooter was either an active or former employee of the bank.

Other reports say the shooting occurred before the bank opened when the shooter burst into a conference room with a long gun and opened fire:

 
UPDATE 2: According to CNN, police say the rifle used was an AR-15 style weapon and that they believe the shooter was a previous employee.
