BREAKING: Former Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale taken to hospital by cops, was ARMED threatening Self-Harm – Report

Brad Parscale, who was the Trump reelection campaign manager until recently, was taken to a hospital a short time ago, after authorities intervened at the request of his family, according to local Fort Lauderdale news.

The South Florida Sun Sentinel reports that Parscale had weapons and was threatening to harm himself when his wife called the police.

“We went out and it was very short. We went and got him help,” said Fort Lauderdale Police Chief Karen Dietrich, according to the Sentinel.

Dietrich said he didn’t threaten police and he went willingly under Florida’s Baker Act, which allows police to detain a person who is potentially a threat to himself or others. He was taken to a hospital, she said.

His wife contacted police, worried that he was suicidal and had firearms.

Fort Lauderdale Mayor Dean Trantalis said he received a text message saying that there was a SWAT team standoff at Parscale’s home.

“It was indicated to me that he had weapons,” Trantalis said.

Local station WPLG adds this statement from Tim Murtaugh, the Trump camapign comms director: “Brad Parscale is a member of our family and we all love him. We are ready to support him and his family in any way possible.”

Parscale was viciously attacked by supposed former Republicans “The Lincoln Project” shortly before he was removed as campaign manager.
