Former FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried was just arrested in the Bahamas after the US filed criminal charges against him.
He was arrested by The Royal Bahamas Police Force after the US had notified them of the criminal charges and their desire to extradite him.
Here’s the announcement:

The arrest comes one day before Bankman-Fried was supposed to testify in front of the House Financial Services Committee.
Charles Payne believes the timing is ‘odd’:
Breaking News
SBF arrested in Bahamas the day before appearing before Congress. Reports say the US is likely to request extradition. Timing is so odd. Lets get him on US soil and stop playing games!

It’s possible the Democrats in the government don’t want him to speak before Congress and this arrest is to keep him silent. In the world we live in that is an entirely plausible theory, I hate to say.
Whatever the case, I do know that these criminal charges have long been overdue and jail is the only place for this Democratic donor.
