BREAKING: Georgia grand jury recommended charges for Senator Lindsey Graham and others who weren’t indicted

A report was just released this morning on the special grand jury which recommended charges in Fani Willis’ case against Trump.

It turns out that Lindsey Graham was on the recommended list of those to be indicted by Willis, but she chose not to indict him and several others including Senator David Perdue.

Here’s more from the New York Post:

A special grand jury recommended that Atlanta’s district attorney seek to charge three current and former US Senators in connection with former President Donald Trump’s attempts to overturn the 2020 presidential election results.

The panel, whose 28-page report was released Friday, recommended Fulton County DA Fani Willis indict Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and former Sens. Kelly Loeffler (R-Ga.) and David Perdue R-Ga.), as well as former Trump national security adviser Michael Flynn and Boris Epshteyn, a top adviser to the 45th president.

Ultimately, Willis indicted 19 people — including Trump, former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, and former Trump attorneys Rudy Giuliani, John Eastman, Sidney Powell and Kenneth Chesebro on charges including violating the Peach State’s anti-racketeering law. Graham, Loeffler, Perdue, Flynn and Epshteyn were not among those charged.

I’ve been listening to Jonathan Turley talk about this report on Fox News and he’s not sure that there’s much Trump’s attorneys can do with this information. After all, she can just say that she didn’t believe she could prove the guilt of these others who were recommended, and that would just go to her own integrity in the case.
