Breaking! Man who videotaped killing of Ahmaud Arbery charged with felony murder! [Updated]

The guy who recorded the killing of Ahmaud Arbery has been charged with murder:

The man who reportedly filmed the fatal shooting of 25-year-old Ahmaud Arbery was arrested and charged with murder, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

According to the GBI, 50-year-old William “Roddie” Bryan Jr. was jailed on felony murder and criminal attempt to commit false imprisonment.

The GBI said these charges stem from Arbery’s killing on Feb. 24.

Bryan was booked into the Glynn County Jail.

Wow. That is stunning. This killing went from zero national attention to this guy getting arrested in addition to the killers only because of one thing – the existence and release of that video tape.

UPDATE:

I just saw that yesterday it was reported that William Bryan took a polygraph test with the police. He said he was in hiding and getting threats over the case.

His lawyer made it sounds as if he passed the polygraph but we don’t know for sure what happened, and we don’t know what additional evidence the police might have.

Here’s part of his statement:

There you go.
