Gofundme has just deleted the fundraiser started by the Canadian Freedom Convoy, claiming it is no longer a peaceful protest.

Gofundme released a statement saying that law enforcement has informed them that this protest is now an “occupation” with “reports of violence and unlawful activity.” They claim it now violates their terms of service.
Instead of refunding the money to the donors, they are going to give the 9 million raised to ‘credible charities’ of their own choosing:

The least they could have done was return the money to the donors automatically. Why should donors have to ask for a refund in a short window like this? They deleted the fundraiser. What a bunch of jerks.
