BREAKING: Gov DeSantis SUSPENDS Soros-backed state attorney who refused to enforce certain laws

Governor Ron DeSantis has just announced he is suspending Soros-backed Hillsborough County State Attorney Andrew Warren for refusing to enforce certain laws related to transgender surgeries and abortion.

Gov. Ron DeSantis said Thursday that he was suspending Hillsborough County State Attorney Andrew Warren for not prosecuting certain crimes.

At a news conference in front of Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office deputies, DeSantis said Warren has “put himself publicly above the law” by signing letters saying he would not enforce laws prohibiting sex changes for minors or laws limiting abortion.

“Our government is a government of laws, not a government of men,” DeSantis said.

Governor DeSantis once again proves that he has the gonads to do what needs to be done to protect the citizens of Florida. What a great governor.

And of course this will put other state attorneys on notice who might be thinking of doing the same thing.

We’ve seen some absolutely horrible state prosecutors in the last few years and it is refreshing to see a state finally push back against them.
