In news that’s just breaking, Governor Greg Abbott has tested positive for COVID-19. Below is the release from his office:
The good news is that Abbott is showing no symptoms and is undergoing Regeneron’s monoclonal antibody treatment.
The other good news is that he was vaccinated back in December of last year, which may be why he isn’t showing any symptoms.
Let’s hope this stays all good news.
UPDATE: Here’s a message from Abbott he just posted:
As you may have heard, I have Covid.
Right now I have no symptoms such as fever or aches and pains.
Thanks for the well wishes from around the country.
