BREAKING: House passes short-term bill to kick government shutdown into March

The House just passed a short-term continuing resolution that kicks a potential government shutdown down the road until later in March.

Specifically, the CR moves funding deadlines to both March 8th and March 22nd. We told you yesterday that Speaker Johnson asked the White House about this.

Here’s the news:

The bill is expected to pass the Senate tonight. Then we’ll be doing this all over again in another week.
