BREAKING: House passes USMCA, giving Trump a huge victory on trade…

The House has just passed by an overwhelming margin Trump’s new trade deal called USMCA that will replace NAFTA:

AXIOS – The House voted 385-41 Thursday to pass a revised version of the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), a trade pact President Trump negotiated to replace the North American Free Trade Agreement.

Completing the trade deal has been one of President Trump’s biggest policy goals in 2019. House Democrats’ decision to back it earlier this month highlights how they want something concrete to bring home to their constituents ahead of the new year as well, even after voting to impeach the president on Wednesday night.

It’s amazing to me that Democrats would give Trump such a huge victory on something this, especially on the outset of an election year. AND right after they voted to impeach him because they hate him. I mean seriously, doesn’t that somewhat undermine their argument that he’s a danger to this country and needs to be removed from office?

Out of the 41 who voted against it, only two Republicans were among them and they were were Thomas Massie from Kentucky and Ted Yoho from Florida.

Now the bill goes to the Senate and we’ll see if it gets the same overwhelming bipartisan support there like it got in the House.
