The House voted tonight to censure Democrat Rep. Stacey Plaskett for colluding with Jeffrey Epstein during a hearing in 2019 in order to try and ‘get Trump’.
However, the vote failed because three Republicans joined Democrats to protect her:
BREAKING: The House votes AGAINST a censure of Delegate Stacey Plaskett (D-VI) over her texts with Epstein after 3 Republicans voted against the censure and 3 Republicans voted present. Every Democrat voted against it.
Final tally: 209-214

So who were the Republicans?
- Don Bacon – Nebraska
- Lance Gooden – Texas
- David P. Joyce – Ohio
They spiked the resolution. Why? I have no idea because it was just a censure. It’s like they were voting to kick her out. This is why the Republican Party sucks so much of the time.
UPDATE: I didn’t realize that 3 Republicans also voted present, which is essentially a ‘no’ vote:
