The Deputy Director of ICE has just responded to a despicable new ad which targets ICE agents, suggesting that they are doing something immoral.
First, here’s the ad, which is paid for by ‘Women’s March Win’ and is airing in Charlotte, NC:
Deputy Director Madison Sheahan responded to this ad a few minutes ago, writing:
The brave fathers and mothers at @ICEgov are keeping our families, our neighborhoods, and our country safe.
Child predators, murderers, gang members, rapists — these are the criminal illegal aliens ICE is removing from our country.
This ad is disgraceful and anti-American.
He’s absolutely right. These brave men and women combatting illegal immigration are doing the people of these cities a huge favor, making the areas safer by removing this criminal threat.
Now the left has been shouting about ICE arresting non-criminal illegals, and that is true. But as we saw recently, 70% of illegals arrested by ICE have criminal records. And Border Czar Tom Homan has been saying from day one, that while ICE’s top priority is criminal illegals, they will arrest and deport non-criminals when they find them. And I have absolutely no problem with that. This is why President Trump won the election just over a year ago and it is what I voted for.
