The governor of Illinois has just signed a bill that strips away all abortion restrictions and, according to Lila Rose, is worse than the bill in New York because it allows abortions up to birth for any reason whatsoever:

The state already had among the most liberal abortion laws in the nation. The new Illinois RHA does away with things the state’s ban on partial-birth abortion, parental notification of minors, ends the need for licensing abortion facilities by the state, allows non-physicians to commit abortions, and allows for abortion at any time, for any reason, including for reasons of “health” which may include “physical, emotional, psychological, familial” or any other type of “health” the abortionist will accept. And abortionists have made clear that they believe the very state of being pregnant and not wanting to be is reason enough to commit an abortion.
Despicable.
And to something I missed on Monday…
Meanwhile, on Monday, Vermont’s Republican governor signed a law declaring abortion a “fundamental right.”
The bill, which Governor Phil Scott signed, also protects the right to contraception, sterilization and family planning. The state’s House gave final approval to the bill on May 14, and there was some uncertainty about how the governor would act.
The war against the unborn has hit unprecedented new levels of evil this year as the left is running scared that Roe v Wade might be overturned.
