The DOJ is moving quickly in light of the news we got yesterday about ending their prosecution against President-elect Trump. Special hack Jack Smith is already in court today asking a judge to get rid of the scheduled deadlines so they can move to dismiss the cases:

All it took was an election to make all of this go away. It’s unfortunate that these cases were ever brought in the first place but I am glad to see the DOJ doing what it said it would do yesterday.
Once these cases are over, Jack Smith is gone. Can’t happen fast enough.
