James O’Keefe is unable to exercise his 2nd Amendment rights to purchase a gun because the FBI has put him on the NICS background check system as a convicted felon. Of course this is completely false and O’Keefe is suing:
If anyone in America needs to protect themselves, James O’Keefe would be high on that list. It’s absolute insanity that the FBI would list him as a convicted felon even though he’s never been convicted of a felony, unless he’s become a target of the government. Given all that’s happened in the last four years, none of us would be surprised if that were the case.
In the video O’Keefe chalks it up to an error, but does wonder if he’s being retaliated against for his undercover journalism. I honestly don’t see how something like this could be an error. Seriously, what are the odds of James O’Keefe, the owner of Project Veritas, being listed as a felon in the NCIS database by mistake? I just don’t see it.
